This was the first museum of its kind in Spain. You can contemplate
among other things the two Roman statues found in the mines, work
tools of all periods, and many objects related to the world of
railways.

Vázquez Díaz Museum

It lodges Vázquez Díaz works, as a Alfonso XIII
portrait from 1928, and of others painters as José María
Labrador. There are temporary exhibitions and painting and photography
contests too.

Matalascañas
Almenara tower in Matalascañas is today a modern construction
that welcomes the Center of Interpretation of the Coast in which
they occur to know the natural and human values this zone.

In natural surroundings of great beauty one is located the Museum
of the Marine World. Fué designed by architects Cruz and
Ortiz in sand dune form with five thematic rooms.

A short history of Huelva from its origins to the present day
is provided here. The rooms dedicated to the culture of Tartessia,
to archaeological relics and to Daniel Vázquez Díaz,
the painter from Huelva, are worthy of their place.

Casa-Museo Zenobia y Juan Ramón

This elegant white house on two floors, with balconies decorated
with wrought iron gates that are typically Andalucian, was the
home of the poet Juan Ramón Jiménez and his wife
Zenobia.
