Huelva Beaches
Beaches of Punta Umbría and El Portil
Punta Umbría is one of the main touristic nucleuses of
the coast, it is very close to the Huelva capital. It posesses
a small port, a maritime club, and you can practice all types
of aquatic and nautical sports.
Matalascañas beach
Matalascañas is the closest beach to Seville, is the main
touristic centre in Huelva in terms of number of people, near
the village of El Rocío and located between the Atlantic
ocean and the National Park of Doñana.
Beach of Mazagón
Mazagón (Palos de la Frontera and Moguer) also has a magnificent
beach surrounded by extensive pinewoods and a Sports Port with
516 berths.
Beach of El Rompido
El Rompido is a typical fishing town within Cartaya, of great
agricultural importance. There are a variety of nautical centres
and docks at the Natural Port de la Ría del Piedras.
Isla Canela
Isla Canela beach is located in the town of Ayamonte, at the mouth
of the Guadiana river, with a big fishing port.
The beach is a huge stretch of sand including small lakes, hotels,
flats, holiday homes and luxury intallations, a golf ground, etc.
La Antilla
La Antilla is a family beach with a good touristic infrastucture.
Located in Lepe, a beautiful city and geographic centre of the
flat land region and producer of magnificent fruit and strawberries.
Islantilla
Between Isla Cristina and Lepe is Islantilla, a modern touristic
complex with hotels, holiday flats, restaurants, condominiums,
sport facilities, sea front walks, a shopping complex, gardens
and a golf ground.
