Bollullos del Condado
Bollullos del condado has no waterfront and not many monuments, but it knows that the way to a tourist’s heart is through his stomach. Bollullos has become over the years a gastronomic and wine capital.
When you arrive in town you will start to see long eating establishments on the street that crosses the town. There are six restaurants on La Tarvesía and in them is consumed half of all the seafood in the province of Huelva, enough said. The inhabitants have recognised the potential of this distinctive gastronomic route and some of the wineries have adapted their premises so that they can be visited.
The town is so linked to wine that its Grape Harvest Fiestas
and Fairs are outstanding with their exaltation of wines: Condado
Viejo, Condado Pálido, Generosos de Licor, white wines
and the new fruited wines. To learn more visit the Wine Museum
and tour the route that starts there to see the premises of the
Bollullos wineries. The residents here also feel the same affection
toward horses and organise several fairs.
