Sierra de Aracena. Castaño de Robledo- Jabugo. Huelva trekking routes

Time: Two hours.

Along a road outside the Castaño, we shall make our way to Fuenteheridos, and near the washing place there is a track called the Calares or the Riverea de Jabugo.

This stone track leads through oak trees to the river bank, difficult to be crossed in some seasons of the year. We shall not cross; instead we must take a lane to the right wich runs on parallel to the river.

This river bank is very rich in trees and flora, with a n almost wild, thick grove of alders, poplars, and willows covered with ivy and honeysuckle.

Walking past the meeting point of two broods and after a soft slope, there is a well-preserved track which leads to Jabugo town.
